Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a medical condition characterised by a persistent pattern of inattention and/or hyperactivity-impulsivity that is more frequent and severe than in other individuals at a comparable level of development.

Child with ADHD
ADHD affects a significant number of children and adults. The illness is most common in children and is generally first diagnosed during the primary school years. Today, it affects approximately 5% of school-age children, with boys diagnosed 3 to 4 times more frequently than girls. ADHD symptoms may continue through adolescence and into adulthood.
